I have to believe that our Creator loves unique expressions of beauty. Look at his created world: full of color, texture, variety and wild, vast beauty that is non-essential, impractical—beauty for the sake of beauty. Like grace, undeserved and lavish, a gift to us who take it in our arms and embrace it.
I feel it whenever I spend a day at the ocean, or walk outside my front door on a spring afternoon and behold THIS shocking display of color in my own front yard! I take in with all of my senses, and see in it an artistry that takes my breath away.
Don’t let it escape your notice today! Don’t let creation play to an empty house. :)
