I know it seems like Christmas is a long way off, but I've written some songs that feel especially hopeful for these times—songs that evoke the joy and peace of the Christmas season. Now feels like the perfect time to make a new Christmas record.

Christmas music has a way of bringing us together and stirring up fond memories. Growing up in North Dakota, I remember so many magical moments around Christmastime—fresh snow tickling my nose, hot cocoa after ice skating, shopping in the "big" city. And just a few notes of a song can bring those memories back in vivid detail.
Which is why I'm releasing a brand new Christmas record: I believe these songs will fill your heart and home with the "Light of Love." The title (and song it's named after) was inspired by the metaphor of Jesus as the "light that shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." (John 1:5) I wanted to make a record that celebrates the light of love —at Christmas and always.
I've got a handful of original and classic Christmas songs that need to be arranged, recorded, mixed, and mastered by talented industry pros—including my producer Nate Sabin, with whom I've worked on several albums. All of this costs money! Which CD sales used to help recoup, but when streaming services stepped in, that revenue disappeared.
